Amanda and Josh had their Telluride Elopement sight unseen. These two live in sunny Florida but wanted an adventure for their elopement. They have never been to Telluride but came across the town on the tv show Top Gear. After seeing the beauty that Telluride offers, they knew this would be the place to have their elopement.
The day before the elopement, Telluride got hit with quite a bit of snow. As I arrived the morning of the elopement, the fresh powder that had fallen looked absolutely beautiful. I did a little scouting around the town for some photo opportunities, as it had been at least four years since I have been to this amazing little ski town. With the snow covered mountains and just the beauty around us, I knew we would capture some incredible images.
As I arrived to their AirBnB I couldn’t stop looking at the view. The snow covered mountains were absolutely jaw dropping. We held their intimate ceremony in the backyard of the AirBnB. With the fresh snow and the mountains in the distance, it literally couldn’t have been anymore perfect.
Following their ceremony, we headed out to explore more of Telluride. We headed through the town and towards Bridal Veil Falls. My hope was to be able to get up to the falls or at least close enough to capture the frozen falls close up. Unfortunately, the road was closed and the hike to falls was a bit further than I wanted to hike. Even though we couldn’t get to the falls, the entry way to Bridal Veil Falls was just as beautiful. With the peaks in the background touching the sky, Amanda & Josh had their first dance.
As the day went on, the three of us explored more of Telluride. From the large open field of freshly fallen snow, to climbing on snow banks to capture the remaining light, this elopement couldn’t have been anymore perfect. Telluride is the most amazing location for any elopement. Want proof? Check out Amanda & Josh’s Telluride Elopement below.
