Alexis and Nick drove out from Kansas City to Colorado for their winter Bear Lake Engagement Session in beautiful Estes Park. Before we decided on Estes Park for their engagement session location, we had another spot in mind. With Alexis & Nick traveling around Colorado and them being in Estes on this day, we decided to just stay put.
This is the first time Nick has been to Estes Park never mind Bear Lake and the first time Alexis has been there since a child. Estes Park itself didn’t show much signs of snow on the ground. As we drove further up through the mountains, the snow would become more visible.
When we arrived at the Bear Lake parking lot, ice and snow would cover the parking area. Hiking up to Bear Lake the snow was deeper than expected, but the views were amazing. We used all of Bear Lake, avoiding the tourists as much as possible.
The sun set over the mountains and the warmth that the sun provided would slowly go away. To stay warm for Alexis & Nicks Bear Lake Engagement Session, we would try to stay as active as possible. Running, walking, twirling, and piggy back rides were on the agenda. With our hands and faces numb, it was all worth it in the end to capture images like these.
Here is a little peek of what we got into for Alexis & Nicks Bear Lake Engagement Session in beautiful Estes Park, Colorado. Enjoy…..
